"This may be the greatest non-stick pan ever..." 2010-02-01
By Koeeaddi (Denver)
This may be the greatest non-stick pan ever, but calling it an "omelette pan" is quite a stretch. Unless, that is, you make omelettes with 12 eggs at a time. My daughter, who is a culinary arts graduate, laughed about the "omelette pan" moniker. I returned it and will buy something a little more nimble for the two eggs I cook up in the morning.

 "Perfect Pan" 2010-01-18

This omelette pan is the perfect size, weight and price. The glass lid is an added bonus. We are daily users, not chefs, and needed something that could stand up to our abuse, while still being very functional.

 "Scratched after one use" 2010-01-17
By Lotus
I don't know if I just received a bad item, or if the other reviewers treat their pans like crystal, but mine developed lots of scratches (some rather deep) after only one use. I followed all the instructions for what to do before the first use, and I only used plastic utensils. I was stunned - the cheap pans from Walmart didn't get scratches that fast. I had to return it.

 "good quality, value" 2010-01-09
By D. Duff (Cambridge, MA United States)
this is a good quality pan. solid glass lid. well made. finish seems better than old calphalon professional non-stick i have from years ago, however it is too soon to tell how durable it will be. pan is LARGER than i expected - somehow i did not full comprehend that "12 inch" is actually pretty huge for a frying pan. i was thrown off by the fact that that they call this an "omelette pan" as it seems too large for that purpose to me.

This pan was well worth buying. It is large for a 12",and the nonstick coating is excellent. The lid is very heavy, but the pan itself is easily manageable.
